New for 2023, Bauer has revamped their very popular and well-received GSX line, bringing in key upgrades throughout. Re-Introducing the Bauer GSX Senior Goalie Leg Pads!
Starting with the face of the pad, the GSX features a Vapor-inspired Thin profile with a soft flex for enhanced flexibility and feel. A flat-faced design means rebounds will kick out true and predictably.
The GSX will also feature Bauer’s Tune Fit strap system, designed to offer both comfort and easy rotation of the pads into position.
The knee of the GSX features Bauer’s Stabiliflex Knee block, designed to limit over-rotation and offer some flexibility throughout. An adjustable/removable knee wing is also featured, allowing for goalies to strap the pads either across or down the knee as they prefer.
Finally down at the boot, Bauer put a 115 degree soft flex boot, which is a hybrid of the Vapor and Supreme models, designed to offer maximum flex and comfort. A centered toe bridge with multi-point adjustment finishes out the pad.

Shin Height Measurement: Without skates or shoes, crouch or sit with your hips slightly elevated above your knees. Next, keeping your feet flat on the floor and your knees centered over your ankles as best as possible, measure the vertical distance from the floor to the middle of the knee cap. Refer this measurement to the chart above to find your recommended size. For an ideal fit, your knee should land in the center of the knee stack when dropping to butterfly. | |||
