Build - INVRT Flex: Debuting with True’s previous Project X the INVRT flex starts with a soft flex shaft, stiffening through the upper and lower paddle down to a rigid blade. On the ice, True's INVRT flex drives energy from the goalie's lower hand directly to its snappier flex point lower in the paddle, designed to fire pucks out of the zone.
- RESFLO Laminate: True’s advanced RESFLO process focuses resin flow to minimize imperfections, producing a superior, more consistent laminate. The result is a responsive, durable stick, that delivers an unmatched tape-to-tape passing feel.
- Precision Laminate Design 2.0: Optimizes each ply of laminate to minimize stress within the composite layers. In practice, PLD enhances durability and helps to keep a consistent feel throughout.

Paddle & Blade - SRT-6S Paddle Reinforcement: Compared to the previous Project X goalie stick's SRT2, True's Project X Smoke goalie stick is embedded with 6 strategic reinforcing ribs. Helping to maintain its rigid lower paddle and blade, the Project X Smoke's SRT-6S design further improves its responsive feel, and snappy release.
- Vibration Suppression System: True's VSS vibration damping is embedded within the Project X Smoke's shaft and shoulder package. When playing a hard shot off the paddle, this additional damping helps to ensure a Project X Smoke a solid, consistent feel for consistent plays.
- Braided Aramid Tech: True's BAT imbues additional high-tensile fibers throughout the blade's carbon-composite weave. This ultra-light blade complements the Project X Smoke's stiff flex mid paddle and quick response.
