Starting at the top of the GSX, the shaft is made with a Double Concave design with a Carbon Wrap designed to be lightweight and durable to withstand shots that may hit this area. The Double Concave design allows for a comfortable grip on the stick when holding this stick at any point on the shaft. It also features a 30 inch length, sharing the design with the Supreme line
Down on the paddle, Bauer has returned their revolutionary Ergo Construction which shapes and tailors this stick to provide high levels of durability and a lightweight design. This is paired with a carbon wrap to increase durability.

Choosing the right fit for a goalie stick is largely player preference. Manufacturers do not typically offer sizing guidelines for goalie sticks as individual play styles, stances, and body dimensions vary.
 For a general fitting guideline, choose a stick in the same age group (Youth, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior) as the goalie's pads and equipment. Then, refer their height against the above table to find a generally recommended paddle length.
