Quarter Construction - Thermoformable Grilamid® Lower Shell: Reshaped to accommodate goalies with wider feet and higher insteps, the Konekt 2 skates offer an unmatched fit with a heat-moldable Grilamid® lower shell. Not only used for the Konekt 2's custom-like fit, Grilamid® is often used in the production of ski boots and mountaineering equipment for its excellent impact resistance and durability in cold temperatures.
- Grilamid® Upper Shell w/ 22° HingeFlex: Unique to the Konekt goalie skates, Bauer's 22° HingeFlex upper allows the goalie to tighten their stance, securing the ankles while allowing for more forward flex. In practice, the Konekt 2's unique quarter can greatly reduce lower body strain by allowing more of the goalie's weight to be centered over the skates.

Fitting - Reinforced Buckle System w/ Push-Lock: Armed with athlete and consumer feedback, Bauer introduces a more durable buckle construction over their first generation Konekt goalie skate, with integrated locking tabs to further secure the goalie's fit.
- ULTRALON® Liners: Designed to conform to and retain the goalie's unique fit, the Konekt 2 goalie skates are lined with plush, thermoformable ULTRALON® Liners. ULTRALON® is often used in orthopedic insoles for its tight cell density that offers excellent cushioning in a small package, with a quick response.

Edge Holder & Runners - PushPlate Platform Outsole: Bauer's anatomical PushPlate outsole is molded into the Konekt 2's Grilamid® lower shell, offering a more direct feel and optimizing foot position for powerful pushes.
- Vertexx Edge Holder: Mounted into the PushPlate outsole, Bauer's Vertexx Edge Holder allows the skates to hold an edge at a lower, more aggressive angle. Additionally, the Vertexx Edge Holder features Bauer's rapid change trigger system to make swapping in fresh steel a breeze. Skates include LS Pulse Ti 3mm Stainless Steel runners.
- LS Pulse Ti 3mm Runners: Included with the Konekt 2's, Bauer's premium LS Pulse stainless steel core runners offer superior edge performance with a Titanium coating to hold edges for longer.

Measurements & Fitting: For senior skates it is generally recommended to size 1.5 down from your US street shoe size. To ensure your skates fit properly, push your toes forward against the toe cap, and check the gap between your ankle and the skate's boot with your fingertip. Ideally, your skates should hug each side of the foot without creating painful pressure points or leaving too much space between the foot and the liner.
